I’d go with Monsters Vs. Aliens, it’s got a pretty good score on Rottentomatoes and depending on what theatres are next to you, you might be able to see in 3-D.
It seems The Haunting in Connecticut is your typical not-scary horror, and it’s gotten bad reviews.
12 Rounds wasn’t screened for critics but actually has about a 50% tomatometer on Rottentomatoes, with 10 reviews in. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good, but it might make for some trashy fun.
I still urge people to check out Knowing, I’m confident at the very least you won’t be bored.
