Variety reports Ryan Reynolds may star as Deadpool in a Wolverine spinoff

Reynolds was pretty much the best part of Wolverine, the only one who seemed aware that the movie was extremely silly. The guy is cut like a rock, good looking, funny, and can even be scary if need be (see The Amityville Horror for evidence).
Then again Hugh Jackman is pretty cut, good looking, maybe not as funny but plenty scary. And they messed his movie up. So it will be very important to scrutinize the writer and director put on the project.
But hopefully they won’t screw it up. Next let’s hope for a Gambit spinoff! (One that doesn’t make him into a dull standard badass dude, like Wolverine did).
